Version 1.0 - Last Update: June 25, 2026
This policy explains how the Kelpom IMEI Checker app for AI assistants handles data. The app connects to AI assistants over the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) and is operated by Kelpom. For any question or request, contact us by email at contact@kelpom.fr.
The app provides one free function: given a 15-digit IMEI, it identifies the device's model name, brand and model number. That is its only purpose.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account or contact details through this app.
We do not store the full IMEI. We store only the TAC — the first 8 digits of the IMEI, which identify the device model, not your individual device — together with the resolved model name, brand and model number, so that future lookups are faster. Our usage logs record the TAC (never the full IMEI), the anonymized assistant-supplied identifier, and the outcome of the lookup, for abuse prevention and basic analytics.
We may share the IMEI with trusted third-party data providers solely to resolve the device model when it is not already known to us. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Cached model data and usage logs are retained to operate and improve the service. You may ask us to delete data associated with your use of the app by emailing contact@kelpom.fr.
The app is a technical utility and is not directed at children.
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version.
